About Us:

Mara Home and Health Services Inc. is dedicated to providing exceptional, personalized home care services to clients in their own homes. We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist clients with daily living activities, including laundry, personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Support meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.

Qualifications:

- Certification as a Personal Support Worker or equivalent training.
- Experience in post-op care
- A caring, patient, and respectful attitude toward clients.
- Ability to follow care plans and work independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification is an asset.

· Previous care giving experience an asset.

· Able to work independently.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, repetitive tasks, walking

Job details: shifts will be assigned on a regular basis based on demand, prescheduled or last minute.

Education

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)

Job Type: Casual Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
