The Role The Department of Education is looking for a Part time Field Experience Facilitators to mentor and support students in the Bachelor of Education program. Field Experience Facilitators will be available from November 1, 2026 - December 22, 2026

Requirements The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in education (Master’s preferred) and have significant experience in teaching or education administration. Necessary skills and attributes to be successful in this role include:

- Demonstrated success in K-12 education and knowledge of the Alberta school system, including classroom teaching, management, instructional planning, and curriculum. Knowledge of Northern Alberta school environments is an asset.
- Candidates must be able to apply different relational strategies to meet the needs of students with different learning styles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Outlook Email.
- Student Focused.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A high level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
