Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Analyst & Tax Preparer to join our team. Responsibilities

- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns with precision and compliance, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Conduct thorough account reconciliations using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and others to maintain accurate financial records.
- Analyze financial statements and data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement.
- Assist with budgeting processes by compiling data, forecasting expenses, and supporting financial planning initiatives.
- Manage accounts payable processes, verifying invoices, processing payments, and maintaining vendor records efficiently.
- Perform audits on financial records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Support investment analysis by reviewing portfolios, tracking performance metrics, and providing detailed reports for management review.
- Maintain comprehensive bookkeeping records using various accounting tools while ensuring data integrity across all systems.




- Reconcile accounts regularly to detect errors or irregularities promptly and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial workflows and enhance overall efficiency in financial services delivery.

Experience
- Proven experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero or similar platforms.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
- Prior experience in auditing or financial review processes is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of tax preparation procedures for individuals or businesses is essential.
- Familiarity with accounts payable management and account reconciliation practices.
- Understanding of investment principles and financial services industry standards is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Basic understanding of payroll processing and budgeting techniques is advantageous.
