Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and friendly Food Counter Attendant to join our dynamic food service team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while preparing and serving a variety of food items. Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and take their food orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register software
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation
- Operate cash handling equipment, process payments efficiently, and provide correct change using basic math skills
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food preparation areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high service standards
- Follow all food handling procedures, sanitation protocols, and safety guidelines to ensure a secure environment for staff and guests

Experience

- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or quick-food setting is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register technology is advantageous
- Experience in cashiering, serving, or food industry roles demonstrates strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques is highly valued
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through effective time management and organizational skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy are essential
- Prior kitchen or food industry experience will support success in this role
