Role Description
Candidates MUST BE based in Montreal Canada to be considered for this role.
As a Full Stack Developer at ElleLogic AI, you will be designing, building, and maintaining features end-to-end: domain modeling, backend implementation, and server-driven UI with Twig and Symfony UX.
The candidate will operate within a professional setting dedicated to high-standard coding, robust test automation, and the principles of clean architectural design.
The candidate must also be open to participate in the on-call schedule. Must be based in Montreal, Canada
Qualifications
- Strong PHP (8.x) and deep knowledge of Symfony (6/7)
- Doctrine ORM and PostgreSQL (schema design, migrations, performance-aware queries)
- Twig templating and server-side rendering
- Solid understanding of design patterns and hexagonal architecture / clean architecture principles (ports & adapters, separation of domain and infrastructure)
- Automated testing with PHPUnit (unit and functional tests)
- Docker-based development workflows
- Git and cooperative workflows (code review, pull requests)
Soft Skills:
- Professional English, spoken and written (documentation and team communication)
- Autonomy and pragmatism: able to own a feature from design to production
- Care for code quality, readability, and long-term maintainability
- Curiosity and willingness to challenge architectural choices constructively
