LiftN'GO is a vehicle transport marketplace based in Toronto. We connect transport companies with dealerships, rental agencies, and fleet companies through a web platform and mobile app.

About the role

We're looking for a full-stack developer to work across our platform, backend and frontend both. You'll be building features for our marketplace, working with a small team, and touching most of the stack listed below.

- Language / Framework: PHP 8.3, Laravel 10
- Database: MySQL
- Authentication: Laravel Sanctum
- Payments: Stripe
- Email: SendGrid
- Push notifications: Firebase FCM
- Real-time / WebSockets: beyondcode/laravel-websockets, self-hosted
- File storage: AWS S3 and DigitalOcean Spaces
- Caching / queues: Redis
- Error monitoring: Sentry
- CI/CD: Gitea, self-hosted, with dev, staging, and production pipelines

What you'll work on

- Building and maintaining features across our Laravel backend and the connected frontend
- Working with Stripe for payments and payouts




- Setting up and maintaining real-time features through our self-hosted WebSocket server
- Writing background jobs and queue workers with Redis
- Handling file uploads and storage across S3 and DigitalOcean Spaces
- Working within our Gitea CI/CD pipelines across dev, staging, and production
- Fixing bugs and errors flagged through Sentry

What we're looking for

- Solid experience with PHP and Laravel, ideally Laravel 9 or newer
- Comfortable with MySQL, including writing and reviewing migrations and queries
- Experience with token-based authentication, Sanctum or similar
- Experience integrating Stripe, including handling webhooks
- Experience with Redis for caching and queues
- Comfortable working with Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Able to communicate clearly and work with minimal oversight

Pay: $61,359.80-$85,000.00 per year
