As a key member of the Lifemark team, your responsibilities will include carrying out treatments prescribed by physiotherapists and engaging residents through therapeutic exercise classes. You'll also be responsible for maintaining a safe environment and recording treatment details. Your input will be crucial in enhancing the lives of seniors in their care.
Key Responsibilities: • Assist with treatments as directed by the supervising physiotherapist • Lead engaging exercise classes for residents • Set up, prepare, and clean treatment equipment • Ensure safety and organization in treatment areas • Document daily treatments using the clinical system
Requirements: • PTA/OTA diploma or equivalent degree in Kinesiology • Experience in long-term care settings preferred • Current Vulnerable Sector screening check • Transparent Tuberculin (2-Step Mantoux Test)
