Job Summary
We are seeking motivated and reliable General Labourers to join our team on a per-job basis. This role involves a variety of outdoor tasks, primarily including snow removal and lawn care services. Work is assigned based on job availability and may be offered through a shift-claiming system.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform snow removal duties, including shovelling, salting, and clearing walkways and driveways
- Complete lawn care tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, and general yard maintenance
- Operate basic landscaping and snow removal equipment safely and efficiently
- Travel to job sites as required
- Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with clients
- Ensure all assigned work is completed to company standards
Work Structure
- Compensation is usually provided on a per-job basis
- Job opportunities are distributed as fairly as possible among team members
- Some jobs may be offered on a first-come, first-served (shift-claiming) basis
- Work availability may vary depending on season and demand
Requirements
- Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license (GDL or Non-GDL)
- Reliable access to a vehicle at all times
- Willingness to transport across the Edmonton Metropolitan Area
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Robust work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Experience
- No prior experience required
- Training will be provided to all successful candidates
