Position: Head Sushi Chef Wage: CAD $39.00 per hour Types: Full-time, Permanent (various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays) Working hours: 30-40 hours per week Advantages: 4% vacation pay Job Duties:

- Plan and direct the preparation and cooking of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes; • Prepare and present a variety of sushi and sashimi, including nigiri, maki, rolls, and specialty dishes; • Fillet and prepare fish and seafood, including cleaning, deboning, slicing, and portioning for sushi and sashimi; • Plan menus, develop specialty dishes and chef’s specials, and ensure food meets quality and presentation standards; • Oversee the selection and proper handling of fish and seafood and the preparation of sushi rice; • Estimate food requirements and assist in controlling food and labour costs; • Supervise,



train, and coordinate other kitchen staff; • Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs and participate in the recruitment and hiring of kitchen staff.

Job Requirements
