This part-time role involves delivering compassionate care and support to residents, ensuring their well-being every day. As a Health Care Aide, you will collaborate with the care team under the supervision of a Staff Nurse.
Your role includes assisting residents with personal care, meal support, and mobility assistance. You'll also be responsible for providing routine treatments and ensuring a comfortable environment for seniors in our care. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with bathing, washing, and personal hygiene
- Aid in transferring residents using safe mechanical equipment
- Provide assistance during meals in accordance with dietary plans
- Support movement to therapy, dining, and recreation activities
- Accompany residents to social events and therapy functions Requirements:
- Minimum one year experience in a care setting
- Completion of recognized HCA/PCA Certificate Course
- Active registration with Alberta's CLHA
- Fluency in English is essential
