Join Northern Mat & Bridge as a Field Heavy Duty Mechanic, where you'll maintain and repair trucks and heavy equipment in various locations. This role requires expertise in diagnostics, servicing, and safety compliance. As a Field Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will be crucial to ensuring that all equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include performing preventative maintenance and major repairs on trucks and heavy machinery. Collaborate with our maintenance team to enhance equipment readiness in the field and support operational needs from inception to completion. Key Responsibilities:

- Perform preventive maintenance on trucks and heavy equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems
- Complete repairs and inspections efficiently




- Maintain accurate service records and comply with safety standards
- Provide guidance and training to apprentice mechanics Requirements:
- Journeyperson or Red Seal certification preferred
- Minimum three years of heavy equipment repair experience
- Valid driver’s license; Class 1 preferred
- Robust mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
