We are seeking energetic and dedicated individuals to join our construction team as Form Setters, Cement Finishers, and Labourers. In this dynamic role, you will be instrumental in the successful execution of building projects, focusing on concrete work, form installation, and general site labor. This position offers a fantastic chance to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to high-quality construction outcomes.
All roles are paid positions, welcoming both experienced workers and motivated newcomers eager to learn.
Responsibilities
- Set up and install formwork for concrete structures using carpentry skills and schematics
- Finish concrete surfaces with precision, applying techniques such as troweling, smoothing, and texturing to meet project specifications
- Operate heavy equipment including, skid steers, excavators,compactors, and other machinery safely and efficiently
- Assist with rebar installation to reinforce concrete structures according to blueprints and safety standards
- Perform general labor tasks such as material handling, site cleanup,
and assisting skilled tradespeople during various phases of construction.
Skills
- Strong knowledge related to construction tools and equipment operation
- Proven experience with rebar installation, masonry, drywall installation, and concrete finishing techniques
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively; familiarity with hand tools is essential
- Knowlage of concrete flooring installation, setting forms
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or working at heights
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude towards safety protocols and quality standards
