Position Overview

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Support Specialists to help maintain clean, safe, and comfortable home environments for our clients. You will provide light to moderate housekeeping services, always with a focus on client safety, dignity, and respect for their personal space.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine housekeeping tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping

- Clean and sanitize bathrooms and kitchens

- Change bed linens and make beds

- Do laundry including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing

- Organize closets, cupboards, and living spaces as requested

- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces

- Empty trash and recycling bins

- Light meal preparation and kitchen cleanup

- Monitor and report home safety hazards

- Follow client-specific cleaning preferences and schedules

- Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment safely

- Maintain client confidentiality and respect personal belongings

Required Qualifications

MANDATORY:

- Minimum 1 year of professional housekeeping experience (private homes, hotels, healthcare facilities, or similar)

- Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities (preferred)

- Strong command of English

- Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) completed within the last 6 months





- Physical ability to perform housekeeping duties including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods

- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and product safety

PREFERRED:

- Formal training in housekeeping or environmental services

- Experience in healthcare settings (hospitals, long-term care, home care)

- Valid Ontario driver's license and reliable vehicle

- First Aid and CPR certification

- Additional language skills

Work Schedule

- Flexible day shifts available

- Part-time and full-time positions

- Monday to Friday with occasional weekend availability

- Consistent client assignments when possible
