North Eastern Ontario Family and Children’s Services seeks an In-House Legal Counsel to provide legal advice and strategic guidance to child protection staff and to represent the agency in court across the NEOFACS catchment. A Law Society of Ontario license and CYFSA/PHIPA knowledge are essential, with leadership and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
Travel across the catchment, including fly-in communities along the western James Bay coast, is required; Cree proficiency is an asset.
