Job purpose The Inbound Agent is responsible for receiving purchase orders, scanning receiving documents, and recording the receipts with ensuring the orders have been correctly satisfied. In addition to booking delivery appointments, managing docks traffic, and updating calendar accordingly. Moreover, the Inbound Agent is responsible for calculating production demand, ensuring all components are located at the correct facility, and informing the right people for any issues.

Duties and Responsibilities The associate’s primary functions and responsibilities are as follows:

- Schedule an inbound appointment and update the calendar accordingly for all sites.
- Check approval supplier list and COA before confirming an inbound appointment.
- Communicate with Quality and receiving department for missing raw martials COA’s.
- Check receiving documents and ensure all items are accounted for with warehouse clerk and or receiver.
- Update the warehouse clerk and purchasers on shipment discrepancies.
- Inform purchaser for any receiving issues or missing components against PO
- Inform purchaser for any deliveries that did not show up.
- Maintain soft copies of all received shipments.
- Receive all inbounds in Just Foods and update the receiving log for all locations.




- Document incoming CHEP pallets from Vendor and compare to CHEP portal if reported. Inform Lead of any CHEP discrepancies.
- Monitor inbound and outbound freight as required.
- Perform other assigned duties.
- Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations.
- Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

- Demonstrate solid organizational skills.
- Pay close attention to details.
- Exhibit ability to use inventory software efficiently.
- Possess basic math skills.
- Work well with team.
- Communicate clearly and effectively.
- Exhibit familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures.
- Additional training, degree and/or related experience desired.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with the ability to create and manage documents, spreadsheets, email communications, and presentations effectively.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with all levels of the plant, organization, outside vendors and customers.

Working conditions

- Work indoors
- Occasionally inventory in the warehouse will be required.
- Usually wear safety equipment such as gloves, hair nets, and bear nets when in the warehouse
- Straight shift work.

Physical requirements

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Sitting involved.
- May repeat the same movement.
- Typing involved.
