Overview

We are seeking an Infrastructure Architect to design, integrate and optimize IT infrastructure supporting AI training, inference and other demanding computing workloads.

The role focuses on infrastructure requirements assessment, heterogeneous computing platforms, server and storage integration, network architecture, and system performance. You will work with clients, technical teams and service providers to develop practical infrastructure solutions, oversee implementation and support reliable ongoing operations.

Responsibilities

- Analyze client requirements and AI training and inference workloads to develop infrastructure designs, technical specifications and capacity plans.
- Evaluate CPU architectures, including x86 and ARM, and accelerator platforms such as NVIDIA GPUs, Ascend NPUs and Google TPUs to determine workload suitability, compatibility and potential performance limitations.
- - Plan computing resource pooling, infrastructure expansion and long-term capacity, considering performance, availability, scalability, power consumption and cost.

- Design and integrate GPU servers, high-performance storage, RDMA networks, distributed training frameworks, and containerization and virtualization platforms.




- Develop network architectures and communication topologies that support efficient data transfer and communication between computing nodes.
- Conduct integration, compatibility and performance testing; document results, identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
- Optimize compute utilization, memory bandwidth, storage throughput and inter-node communication to improve training throughput, reduce inference latency and increase overall resource efficiency.
- Oversee IT infrastructure operations, monitor availability and performance, investigate technical issues and coordinate corrective actions.
- Lead and coordinate technical personnel and service providers during infrastructure deployment, integration, upgrades and testing.
- Provide technical advice to clients and internal teams on infrastructure selection, implementation, capacity expansion and performance improvement.
- Prepare and maintain architecture diagrams, configuration specifications, capacity assessments, test reports and operational documentation.

Pay: $62.00-$65.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
