Frontop Engineering provides multidisciplinary engineering, architectural, design and consulting services to government and private-sector clients. Responsibilities

- Perform soil compaction and density testing using a nuclear density gauge
- Conduct concrete testing including slump, air, temperature and cylinder preparation
- Perform footing/foundation and earthwork inspections
- Conduct soil, aggregate and construction material sampling
- Assist with borehole investigations, soil sampling and groundwater monitoring
- Complete accurate daily field reports and test records
- Communicate field results with engineers, project managers and contractors
- Assist with laboratory testing as required
- Travel to project sites throughout the GTA and occasionally other areas of Ontario
- Occasional night and weekend work may be required





Qualifications
- College Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant field experience
- CCIL Concrete Testing Certification required
- Experience with concrete testing and nuclear density gauge testing
- Valid Ontario G driver's licence
- Good English communication and field reporting skills
- Able to work independently in a construction-site environment
