Inventory Technician

Location: Cambridge, ON

Contract Details

- Position Type: Contract
- Contract Duration: 4 months
- Pay Rate: C$22.00 / Hour (CAD)
- Shift / Schedule: 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM — 1/2-hour unpaid lunch, two 15-minute breaks

Key Responsibilities

- Shipping & receiving orders
- Participates in area safety, ergonomics, & housekeeping
- Participates in Continuous Improvement — Area 5S
- Interacts with customers & accepts daily deliveries
- Maintains electronic & manual shipping & receiving documents
- Delivers samples to the production laboratories several times per day
- Participates in the long-term storage of client samples & determination of final disposition
- Communicates with local leadership team
- Performs all routine shipping & receiving tasks as needed, including proper packaging & labelling & storage of supplies & samples

Required Skills

- Ability to implement safe handling procedures for hazardous materials
- Effective time management skills, organized & ability to excel in a fast-paced workplace
- Counterbalance, Reach, and Electric Pallet Truck operation

Education Requirements

- High school diploma or GED required
- Must have a valid driver's license (CA DMV Class C)

Required Experience





- Must be able to lift 50 lbs with the help of coworkers
- Must be able to climb ladders
