Java Application Developer

Role Summary

We are seeking a Java Application Developer to support application enhancements, modernization, system integrations, data solutions, and cloud-based initiatives within a complex enterprise workplace.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement application enhancements, integrations, and modernization initiatives.
- Support data integration, transformation, reconciliation, and reporting solutions.
- Perform technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis and provide application support.
- Apply development best practices, including TDD, Agile, and DevOps.
- Maintain and enhance existing automation and modernization frameworks.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Requirements

- Degree or diploma in Computer Science,



Software Engineering, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience with enterprise financial, trading, treasury, risk, or capital markets applications.
- 5+ years of Java development experience in complex enterprise environments.
- 3+ years of experience with relational databases and SQL, preferably Oracle.
- Experience with cloud architecture and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, and Azure DevOps.
- Experience with performance testing, data modeling, integration, transformation, reconciliation, and data warehouse technologies.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
