About the Position - Pinnacle Glass and Aluminum Ltd. is seeking a Junior Project Coordinator who wants to begin or develop a career in commercial construction and project management.

This is an entry-level/development position. Previous glazing experience is preferred and training will be provided.

The Junior Project Coordinator will work under the guidance of our Director, Project Manager, Estimators, and experienced team members while learning how commercial glazing projects are managed from award through completion.

Recent graduates and candidates with 0–2 years of construction-related experience are encouraged to apply.

About Us - Pinnacle Glass and Aluminum Ltd. is a growing commercial glazing contractor specializing in architectural glazing systems for commercial, institutional, multi-family, and custom projects throughout British Columbia.

Our work includes curtain wall, window wall, storefront systems, aluminum entrances, glass canopies, fiberglass windows and doors, and other architectural glazing applications.

Key Responsibilities - Under the guidance of senior team members, you will:

- Assist with day-to-day coordination of commercial glazing projects
- Learn to read and review architectural drawings, specifications, and project documents
- Assist with preparing and tracking shop drawings, submittals, samples, RFIs, revisions, and approvals
- Maintain drawing logs, project correspondence, and organized electronic project files
- Assist with material take-offs
- Request and follow up on supplier quotations and product information
- Assist with purchase orders and procurement
- Track material orders, approvals, fabrication status, lead times, and deliveries
- Update project schedules,



trackers, and internal reports
- Assist with documenting project changes and preparing change-order backup
- Communicate with suppliers, general contractors, and field personnel as directed
- Prepare meeting notes and track assigned action items
- Assist with progress-billing documentation
- Help maintain cost and purchasing records
- Assist with deficiency tracking and project closeout documentation
- Visit active project sites when required
- Learn commercial glazing terminology, products, systems, drawings, and installation processes

As your experience develops, you will gradually take responsibility for more project coordination activities.

Qualifications -

- 0–2 years of construction-related experience
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
- Diploma, degree, certificate, or relevant experience in construction management, architectural technology, engineering, building science, estimating, or a related field is an asset
- Basic understanding of architectural or construction drawings is preferred
- Previous construction office, estimating, procurement, or project administration experience is an asset but not required
- Robust Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Good written and verbal communication
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to ask questions and learn




- Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks accurately
- Comfortable following up with others for information
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable personal vehicle are required, as travel to project sites is part of the position.

You should be comfortable receiving direction and feedback, asking questions when you don't understand something, and gradually taking on more responsibility as your knowledge develops.

This is a good opportunity for someone who wants to learn both the technical and administrative sides of commercial construction rather than remain in a purely administrative role.

Compensation & Benefits

- $25.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on education and experience

This is primarily an office-based position with visits to active project sites throughout the Lower Mainland.
