Our client is a global engineering and project delivery firm that's regularly brought in when mining projects get complex. Their teams work on major mineral processing projects across North America and internationally, helping clients solve difficult technical challenges and move projects from concept through construction.

This is for a Mech. Eng. who wants more than design responsibility. You'll have a seat at the table on major project decisions, direct exposure to clients, and the opportunity to influence outcomes on projects that actually get built.

What You'll Do:

- Lead the mechanical scope on major mining and mineral processing projects from studies through construction and commissioning.
- Own equipment selections, key design decisions, engineering deliverables, and technical direction.
- Work directly with clients, vendors, and project teams to solve complex engineering and execution challenges.
- Coordinate with Process, Civil, Structural, Electrical, and Instrumentation teams to keep projects moving and resolve issues before they become problems.
- Lead procurement activities including equipment specifications, vendor evaluations, technical reviews, and capital cost input.
- Support construction and commissioning when technical decisions have real operational and financial consequences.
- Mentor engineers and designers while helping strengthen the team's technical capability and delivery standards.

What You'll Bring:

- Mechanical Engineering degree and P.Eng. designation.
- 10+ years of exp. in mining, mineral processing, bulk materials handling, heavy industrial, or similar project environments.
- Exp. leading mechanical scopes within an EPCM, consulting, or owner-side project delivery environment.




- Strong understanding of process equipment, rotating equipment, plant infrastructure, piping systems, and bulk material handling facilities.
- Proven ability to take projects from concept through execution while balancing technical, schedule, and commercial realities.
- Robust engineering judgment, practical problem-solving skills, and the credibility to influence clients, vendors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Gold, copper, or other mining and metals project exp. is highly desirable.
