Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Licensed Site Guard to join our security team in Arthur, Ontario. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment across our site by monitoring premises, controlling access points, and conducting surveillance activities. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help prevent loss, deter unauthorized access, and ensure the safety of all personnel and visitors.

Responsibilities

- Monitor all entry and exit points to authorize authorized personnel, visitors, and contractors while denying access to unauthorized individuals
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to oversee the premises, identify suspicious activity, and ensure security protocols are followed
- Perform routine patrols of the site to detect potential security breaches or safety hazards
- Respond promptly to incidents or alarms, coordinating with emergency responders when necessary
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and surveillance footage for accountability and reporting purposes




- Enforce loss prevention measures by observing for theft or vandalism and intervening as needed
- Ensure compliance with all security policies, procedures, and legal requirements related to licensed security operations

Skills

- Strong background in law enforcement or security services with a focus on site security management
- Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and conducting effective surveillance operations
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to minimize theft and property damage
- Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail during patrols and inspections
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations or security breaches
- Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally
- Valid licensing as a Site Guard in Ontario, with adherence to all legal requirements for security personnel
