We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate is confident working on their own and adhering to pharmacy dosing standards and regulations. They will provide daily dosing at a satellite location for patients with mental health and addictions.
Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Assess patients' condition to determine appropriateness of dosing
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using medication administration records (experience with Kroll is an asset)
- Collaborate with pharmacy team to ensure seamless care is provided to patients
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures.
Qualifications
- Valid LPN license in Nova Scotia
- Mental health and addictions experience is an asset
- Solid communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
