The Opportunity
We are looking for a creative, organized, and results-driven well rounded and results-driven Marketing Coordinator to join our team for a 15-month parental leave coverage contract. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating engaging content, connecting with audiences, and bringing marketing campaigns to life.
The primary focus will be on email marketing, social media, and blog/content creation, with opportunities to support broader digital and traditional marketing initiatives. This is a hybrid role split between the Puslinch office and a remote home-office.
The Ins and Outs of the Job
Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing and Business Development, and working closely with the Senior Marketing Coordinator, the Marketing Coordinator will help ensure that all marketing activity is consistent with the established Bryan’s brand, reaches the right audiences, and delivers measurable results. This role is directly responsible for:
Email Marketing
- Developing, writing, scheduling, and managing email marketing campaigns using Mail Chimp and HubSpot.
- Creating engaging email content that aligns with campaign objectives, the customer journey, and the Bryan’s brand.
- Maintaining email lists and ensuring campaigns comply with privacy, anti-spam, and other applicable legislation.
- Monitoring campaign performance and using results to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Supporting the development and maintenance of email marketing calendars.
Social Media & Content
- Creating, capturing, writing, scheduling, and publishing engaging social media content across relevant platforms.
- Developing content that reflects the Company’s mission, values, brand promise, and target audiences.
- Maintaining up-to-date monthly, quarterly, and yearly content calendars.
- Writing and publishing blog content that provides value to our target audience while incorporating clear calls to action.
- Researching customer interests, behaviours, trends, and emerging topics to help inform content strategy.
- Using Canva and other graphic design tools to create and edit social media graphics, images, and other marketing materials.
- Collaborating with internal teams to identify opportunities for stories, events, customer highlights, and other engaging content.
Digital Marketing & Analytics
- Tracking and reporting on social media, email, website, SEO, and campaign performance.
- Using tools such as Meta Business Suite and Google Analytics to monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assisting with the collection and analysis of marketing data and KPIs.
- Identifying areas of opportunity and making recommendations to improve campaign performance and engagement.
Brand & Marketing Support
- Working with third-party marketing firms, publications, media outlets, and other vendors to coordinate marketing initiatives and ensure content is delivered as planned.
- Supporting the development of print, radio, digital, and out-of-home advertising as required.
- Assisting with the creation and sourcing of marketing collateral such as brochures, sell sheets, business cards, event displays, giveaways, and other promotional materials.
- Supporting trade shows, sponsorships, events, and other marketing initiatives.
- Assisting with customer and consignor satisfaction surveys and tracking results.
- Supporting the Marketing Director and Senior Marketing Coordinator with other marketing projects and initiatives as required
Other Tasks
- Working in a way that aligns with company health and safety protocols
- Other duties as assigned by the Director, or another member of the Senior Management Team in consultation with the Director.

Who You Are Often described as a “do-er”, you are a hands-on marketing professional who is:
- A strong writer and communicator who understands that good marketing is about more than simply creating content — it’s about creating the right content for the right audience at the right time
- Comfortable moving between writing an email campaign, planning a week of social content, drafting a blog post, reviewing analytics, and helping bring a larger marketing campaign together.
- Organized, creative, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
- Able to thrive in a highly collaborative team environment and when working independently.
Your education and career path are likely to have culminated in:
- Completion of post-secondary education in marketing, advertising, or a similar field of study.
- 3-5 years’ experience in a busy marketing department with a strong focus on email marketing, social media marketing, content creation, and blogging.
- Expert knowledge of Canva, MailChimp, and Meta Business Suite.
- Experience working with Google Analytics, SEO, and HubSpot.
- Excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint
- Solid customer service skills as well as verbal and written communication abilities
- Truly impeccable attention to detail
- While not necessary, experience in the following would be a significant asset: experience with building websites and using associated website design programs, or experience working in the Auction industry.

The Interviewing Process
Candidates can expect that the interviewing process will generally include:
- A screening interview with the Human Resources Manager, scheduled remotely.
- An in-person interview with the Director of Marketing and Business Development and Human Resources Manager to review your portfolio
- Professional reference checks.
We understand that candidates who are currently employed will have to provide notice, and we respect the need for this vital transition period. While we are planning for an early November start, we will establish a mutually agreed upon start date that accommodates a reasonable notice period. This role is a contract position and is expected to end in early February 2028.
The Compensation Package

- Annual salary that accurately reflects what you bring to the role, starting in the $57-62,000 range, depending on experience

- This role is expected to be in the office 3 days a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Tuesday and Thursday will be remote home-office days.
