The Irene Woods Foundation provides accessible academic support to students across Greater Montreal. We are seeking an experienced and caring Math Tutor to work in person or remotely with secondary school students in small groups.

Responsibilities

- Work with students in small groups for two hours each week.

- Review a Math online learning platform to identify areas for improvement

- Plan sessions based on students’ needs and progress

- Explain concepts clearly and adapt to different learning levels

- Develop students’ problem-solving and study skills

- Monitor student progress and communicate with the Foundation team as needed

- Create a positive and engaging online learning environment

- Part-time, remote or in person position

- Schedule based on student and program needs

- Close collaboration with the Irene Woods Foundation team
