We are as seeking an Amazing MOA (Medical Office Assistant) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office by providing administrative support and excellent customer service to patients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar efficiently
- Prioritize and complete assigned daily tasks while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and a high standard of patient service.
- Answer phone calls, emails and inquiries promptly and courteously.
- Maintain patient records accurately and confidentially
- Process billing and insurance claims
- Assist healthcare providers with various tasks
- Keep exam rooms and patient areas tidy, prepare exam rooms for procedures, clean up after each patient interaction as needed
- Monitor inventory and place orders, keep stock room up to date as well exam rooms
Experience
- Previous experience as a Medical Office Assistant or in a similar role preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately interpret clinical notes and communicate effectively with healthcare providers
- Proven office experience handling front desk responsibilities, multi-line phone systems, and administrative duties
- Demonstrated ability to manage busy schedules while maintaining attention to detail and excellent customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced setting
