Medical Office Assistant (MOA) — Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
Location: Vancouver, BC (hospital-based practice)
Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent | Monday–Friday (NO evenings or weekends)
Start Date: End of September/Early October
Compensation: Competitive hourly wage starting from $25-30/hour, commensurate with experience — with generous growth potential as the practice develops
About the Opportunity: An exciting ground-floor opportunity to partner with a current Otolaryngology – Head & Neck surgeon specializing in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. This is a chance to help build a practice from day one alongside a supportive, kind surgeon who is looking for a true teammate , someone in it for the long haul. The surgeon is establishing an independent, hospital-based practice within a department of multiple otolaryngologists, and is partnering closely with another surgeon whose established MOA will be available to help train and support you.
While each practice operates independently, the MOAs will work collaboratively and may cover for one another during vacations — so you'll have a team around you from the start. As a facial plastic surgery practice, the patient population involves relatively few emergencies, making for a predictable, well-organized scheduling and booking environment.
