Position title: Millwright / Construction Lead Hand – Grain Systems MULTIPLE POSITIONS ARE AVAILABLE.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, approximately 50 to 55 hours per week with overtime starting after 44 hours; Full-time, year-round employment

Compensation: Starting at $30 (pending experience) with annual wage reviews + Year End performance bonus + Health Spending Account + Pension

Location: 2294 Country Road 31, Winchester ON. Travel to customer sites throughout Eastern Ontario is required; some overnight travel may be required.

Horst Systems is looking for an experienced working Lead Hand to lead crews installing grain handling and storage systems across Eastern Ontario.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You will work alongside your crew, coordinate the work on site, troubleshoot installation issues, interpret drawings, and ensure the job is completed safely, efficiently and to Horst standards.

What You'll Do

- Lead and work alongside a crew installing grain handling and storage systems
- Coordinate daily work on site and keep the project moving
- Assemble and install mechanical and structural components
- Read and interpret drawings and installation plans
- Troubleshoot mechanical and installation issues in the field
- Work with conveyors, augers, drives and other grain-handling equipment
- Ensure safe,



efficient and high-quality work
- Coach and support less-experienced crew members
- Communicate site issues and progress to the Project Manager
- Operate forklifts, telehandlers and other site equipment
- Work at heights and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Travel throughout Eastern Ontario, including occasional overnight stays

What We're Looking For We're looking for someone with strong hands-on mechanical or construction experience and demonstrated crew leadership ability.

You bring

- 5+ years of relevant construction, millwright, mechanical installation or industrial experience
- Experience leading or directing a crew on a job site
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Confidence working with tools, equipment and mechanical systems
- Experience working at heights and in outdoor construction environments
- Strong safety awareness and personal accountability
- Explicit communication and the ability to work effectively with a team
- A valid driver's licence and ability to travel throughout Eastern Ontario

A Millwright certificate, welding experience or agricultural/construction background is an asset, but demonstrated capability and experience are what matter most. Candidates outside the Winchester area are encouraged to apply. Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate.
