Crossroads Staffing is looking for two reliable and physically capable individuals to assist with a residential move within Orillia. This is a great opportunity for casual or part time workers seeking a one-day assignment with competitive pay.
Responsibilities
- Load furniture and household items into a U-Haul truck
- Safely carry and move items between locations
- Unload furniture and belongings into a storage unit
- Follow instructions from the homeowner during the move
- Use proper lifting techniques and work safely at all times
- Maintain a professional and respectful attitude
Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Physically fit and comfortable performing manual labour
- Reliable and punctual
- Steel-toe boots preferred
- Previous moving, warehouse, construction, or general labour experience is an asset
- Comfortable working on stairs and carrying furniture through residential environments
Job Details
- Location: Orillia
- Duration: One-day assignment
- Hours: Tuesday (August 25, 2026) 10 am to 6 pm
- Pay Rate: $22/hr, with weekly pay and overtime after 44 hours
