Best Western Plus Chateau Fort St.John is looking for an energetic detail oriented Night Auditor to join our team.

Must be available for Night Audit Shift (11 pm - 7 am). Be available on weekends. Team player, good communication, customer service, and good attitude.

The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing hotel operations during overnight hours, ensuring excellent guest service, completing daily financials and maintaining security, and preparing the property for the next business day, including setting up the breakfast area.

Guest Service Duties

- Welcome, register, and check in late-arriving guests.
- Process guest check-outs and payments.
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally.
- Answer telephone calls and provide information about hotel services and local attractions.
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and room changes.
- Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction during overnight hours.

Night Audit duties:
- Perform the nightly audit process and balance daily revenue.
- Reconcile room charges, payments, credit card transactions, and cash receipts.
- Prepare daily financial reports and management summaries.
- Verify and correct posting errors in the Property Management System (PMS).
- Process end-of-day procedures and roll the system to the next business date.
- Maintain accurate records and secure handling of cash and financial information.

Operational Duties




- Monitor hotel security systems, cameras, and property access.
- Conduct regular inspections of public areas and hotel facilities.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance regarding overnight issues.
- Ensure the lobby and front desk areas remain clean and organized.
- Assist with emergency situations following hotel procedures.

Breakfast Preparation Duties
- Set up the breakfast area before service hours.
- Prepare and arrange breakfast items according to hotel standards.
- Brew coffee and prepare hot beverages.
- Restock food, condiments, utensils, napkins, plates, and cups.
- Ensure breakfast equipment is clean, operational, and ready for guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the breakfast area in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Report any food shortages or equipment issues to management.

General Responsibilities
- Follow hotel policies, health and safety procedures, and brand standards.
- Maintain confidentiality of guest and hotel information.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
