Job Summary

Join our agile team as a Night Merchandiser/Stocker, where you will play a vital role in ensuring our warehouse remains inviting, organized, and fully stocked during evening hours. This energetic position involves managing inventory, maintaining store cleanliness, and supporting the overall member experience by preparing the store for the busy daytime hours. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create a seamless shopping environment for our members and support the warehouse’s operational excellence.

Duties

- Follow merchandising standards and practices. Align product, collect and return stray items, stock to maintain high product levels.
- Communicate with supervisors and managers to determine merchandising plan and priorities. Write list of products to be brought from steel, by forklift driver for stocking.
- Use box knife to cut boxes for display/accessibility of product and to cut twine or shrink-wrap from pallet. Wraps or ties and tags pallets to be returned to steel.
- Stocks opened cases on shelves. Moves and positions pallets of merchandise using manual pallet jack. Stack product from partial pallets onto full pallets.
- Observe and ensure correct product signage.
- Set up display models, assembling as necessary. Modify displays for safe handling by members, e.g. bolting heavy equipment, taping blade edges. Follow all safety and security procedures.
- Pull loose cardboard and slip sheets from floor. Clear sales floor o fdebris and sweep. Remove empty pallets from the sales floor. Operate cardboard bailer and compactor.
- Provide prompt and courteous member service. Help members to load large items into their cart,



direct members to products, relate product status knowledge.
- Assist with Frontend duties as necessary
- Assist in other departments of the warehouse as necessary
- Create computer generated signs.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in retail sales, merchandising, or stockroom operations is preferred but not required.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and assist members when necessary.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs better.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, safety standards, and basic maintenance practices.
