Outside Technical Sales Rep - Hamilton, ON

This role is ideal for a technically minded, confident sales professional with a background in industrial, construction, automotive parts distribution, chemical, lubricant or technical sales.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Develop new business while growing existing customer relationships
- Prospect, cold call and visit customers throughout Southern Ontario
- Understand customers’ technical needs and recommend the right products
- Sell automotive, concrete form release and specialty industrial lubricant products
- Prepare quotes, proposals and tenders and close sales
- Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshoot product applications
- Monitor market trends, competitors and new product developments
- Stay current on evolving product science, technology and industry trends

WHAT YOU BRING

- Sales experience, preferably in industrial, lubricant, chemical or technical sales
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand and explain technical information
- A genuine interest in learning and staying current with industry developments
- Solid prospecting, negotiation and closing skills
- Self-motivated, organized and comfortable working independently




- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
