Boboto Care is a growing Ontario-based perinatal care collective providing exceptional overnight newborn care, postpartum support, night nanny services and newborn education to families across Toronto, Vaughan, York Region and the Greater Toronto Area.

We have built a close-knit collective of nurses, doulas, newborn care specialists and experienced infant-care professionals who genuinely enjoy working together.

Flexible overnight hours

Choose availability that works for you. Most shifts are 8–10 hours and commonly run 10 PM–6 AM or 8 PM–6 AM. Practitioners can take recurring clients or select opportunities that fit their schedules.

We believe experienced newborn professionals should be compensated accordingly. Our rates are designed to attract highly skilled practitioners and reflect the level of care our families expect.

About the Role

As an Overnight Newborn Care Specialist / Night Nanny with Boboto Care, you will provide calm,



attentive in-home support so parents can rest, recover and feel confident caring for their baby.

Responsibilities may include

- Overnight newborn and infant care
- Bottle feeding and bringing baby to parents for breastfeeding
- Burping, diaper changes, soothing and settling
- Supporting safe sleep practices
- Tracking feeds, diapers and sleep
- Bottle preparation and washing
- Washing pump parts where required
- Newborn care and postpartum education
- Supporting parents with feeding, soothing and newborn routines
- Infant laundry and light baby-related tidying
- Light meal preparation when time permits
- Communicating important observations and updates to parents
- Providing calm, reassuring and professional support during the postpartum period

This is primarily a newborn and postpartum support position, not a general housekeeping role.

- Nursing students with significant newborn or infant experience
- Internationally Educated or Trained Midwives
- Social Workers and Social Work students with relevant infant/family experience
- Certified Postpartum Doulas

- Infant Care Specialists
- Early Childhood Educators with strong infant experience
- Experienced Night Nannies
- Career Nannies with approximately 7+ years of professional childcare experience

Regardless of professional background, significant hands-on newborn or infant experience is required. You May Be a Great Fit If You Are

- Comfortable working independently in a family’s home
- Knowledgeable about newborn feeding, soothing and safe sleep

- LGBTQ+ affirming and committed to inclusive care
- Comfortable travelling to client homes overnight
- Skilled in your communication and appearance
- Excellent at customer service and interpersonal communication
- Able to remain calm, observant and proactive throughout overnight care

Requirements

Applicants must have





- Significant hands-on newborn and infant care experience
- Infant CPR and First Aid certification
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check or appropriate background screening
- Strong professional references
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel within your selected GTA service area, potentially up to approximately 40 km

- Food Handler Certification

Every practitioner completes Boboto Care’s interview, screening and onboarding process before being introduced to families. Flexible Work That Fits Your Life

This is an independent contractor opportunity, making it an excellent fit for nurses, healthcare professionals, students, doulas, newborn care specialists and experienced nannies who want meaningful overnight work without committing to a traditional full-time schedule.

Some practitioners choose one night per week.

Others build recurring schedules with several overnight shifts.

We work with your availability and preferred service area whenever possible.
