Position Responsibilities The Donald School of Business is seeking a part-time instructor to teach Retirement Planning, FINS 4200 in the Winter semester.

Please note: This is an on-campus, in-person, course offering.





FINS 4200 identifies how to synthesize learning in the development of comprehensive retirement planning strategies. Assess government, employer, and private retirement support and shortfalls. Receive credit towards Certified Financial Planning (CFP) designation.

Candidates should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills that allow them to teach this course to a wide range of learners. The successful candidate will also have a passion for teaching theory using applied learning strategies in a flexible learning environment. A desire to innovate in the achievement of learning outcomes is required.

FINS 4200: Retirement Planning

On Campus | TR | 18:30 – 19:50

Please note the contract start dates allow for instructor prep time. The contract end dates allow for grading and submission of final marks.

Required Qualifications

- Graduate degree in relevant discipline (i.e. MBA)
- CFP designation
- Record of relevant business experience
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, team environment

Preferred Qualifications

Combination of

- Post-Secondary teaching experience
- Doctorate degree in relevant discipline

Benefits and Compensation Information Part-time instructors receive an additional 14% of the gross salary in lieu of benefits and vacation pay.
