Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of high-quality dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation activities, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area to meet health and safety regulations
- Supervise and support team members during shifts, fostering a collaborative and energetic work workplace
- Manage food handling procedures to ensure freshness, safety, and compliance with food industry standards
- Serve food efficiently to customers or staff while maintaining excellent hospitality standards
- Support restaurant management with daily operations,
including inventory checks and restocking supplies
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service roles within the food industry
- Demonstrated supervising or team management experience in a culinary or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling techniques
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and serve customers effectively
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and serving procedures is a plus
- Passion for culinary arts with a commitment to delivering outstanding food experiences
