We’re looking for a dependable, hard-working person to join our team approximately 25 hours per week – 5 hours/day, Thursday to Monday. This position is in addition to our regular kennel staff and is primarily focused on the cleaning, yard work and maintenance that keeps the whole facility running smoothly. We’re looking for someone who sees what needs doing and does it.
You should be comfortable working independently, staying busy without constant direction, doing physical work and working around dogs of all sizes. This would be a outstanding fit for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and takes pride in leaving a place better than they found it.
Responsibilities
- Raking and cleaning outdoor dog yards
- Poop pickup
- Laundry and dishes
- Sweeping and general cleaning
- Cleaning kennels as needed
- Garbage removal
- Mowing and weed control
- Snow removal
- General yard and property maintenance
- Assisting with other day-to-day jobs around the facility
