Crash Hotel is looking for a friendly, dependable and resourceful Front Desk Agent to join our small hotel team.

We are a unique 27-room boutique hotel located in the heart of downtown Squamish. Our guests come to explore everything the Sea-to-Sky has to offer—and our team helps make their stay welcoming, easy and memorable.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, can confidently manage responsibilities independently and is comfortable in the lively environment of a small downtown hotel. Because we operate with a close-knit team, we are looking for someone who notices what needs to be done and is happy to pitch in.

Responsibilities

- Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service
- Manage guest arrivals, departures and room assignments
- Process reservations, cancellations and reservation changes
- Respond to guest questions by phone, text, email and in person
- Process payments and accurately update guest accounts
- Provide information about hotel facilities and services
- Recommend Squamish attractions, restaurants and activities
- Respond promptly and calmly to guest requests or concerns
- Communicate room status, maintenance issues and guest needs to housekeeping and management
- Monitor the property and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment
- Keep the front desk, lobby, guest corridors and shared areas clean and organized
- Assist with light operational, restocking and room-preparation tasks when needed
- Report maintenance, safety or security concerns promptly
- Complete shift notes and communicate important information to the next team member

Previous hotel, front desk or customer-service experience is preferred. Experience with hotel reservation or property-management software is an asset, but training will be provided.

Schedule and Position Details

- Permanent, part time position
- Approximately two to three shifts per week
- Most shifts will be eight hours, generally 9 a.m.–5 p.m. or 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
- Some evening, weekend and holiday shifts may be available or required
- The exact schedule may be shaped around the availability and strengths of the successful candidate
- Additional hours may become available depending on hotel needs and the candidate’s experience
- Must be able to reliably commute to downtown Squamish
- Staff accommodation is not currently available
- Work is performed in person at the hotel
