Payroll Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Assistant to support our Payroll team. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate employee and payroll information, validating time and attendance records, supporting payroll processes, and ensuring confidential information is handled appropriately.

Key Responsibilities Enter and maintain accurate employee information in Dayforce.

Review and validate time and attendance records to support accurate payroll processing.

Follow up with supervisors, managers, and other stakeholders regarding missing or inaccurate information.

Maintain payroll records, timesheets, and employee documentation.

Support the Payroll team with payroll-related inquiries, administrative tasks, and projects.

Maintain employee records and other payroll-related information.

Assist with process improvements and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification is an asset, with candidates currently pursuing their PCP certification also encouraged to apply. An equivalent combination of education, training, and related administrative experience may be considered.





Minimum one year of experience in payroll or an administrative role.

Experience with payroll or HRIS systems; Dayforce experience is an asset.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.

Solid written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and commitment to confidentiality.
