Serve as the Cultural Coordinator at Pelican Falls First Nations High School, enhancing the cultural foundation of educational experiences. This role emphasizes traditional knowledge and community involvement.

In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for leading and promoting First Nation cultural practices at PFFNHS. You will work alongside educators to embed traditional knowledge in various programs, support the Elders Program, and orchestrate cultural gatherings. Your expertise will inspire both staff and students to engage with their heritage fully.

Key Responsibilities:



• Enhance the Elders Program in collaboration with administration • Direct traditional events including Pow Wows and workshops • Mentor students pursuing traditional practices • Collaborate on embedding culture in educational programs • Communicate effectively regarding cultural events and programming

Requirements: • Solid understanding of First Nation cultural practices • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills • Driven and able to work with minimal supervision • Compassionate approach towards First Nations youth • Physical ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs
