Duties

- Assist licensed pharmacists with dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Prepare prescription labels, stock shelves, and maintain organized medication storage
- Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and offering guidance on over-the-counter products
- Verify prescriptions against medical records and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Manage inventory levels, restock supplies, and monitor expiration dates to maintain pharmacy accuracy
- Support medication administration processes under supervision, ensuring proper handling and documentation




- Maintain detailed records of prescriptions, patient interactions, and inventory logs to ensure regulatory compliance

Skills

- Prior experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting is highly preferred
- Experience as a pharmacy technician or similar role is advantageous
- Robust understanding of medical terminology related to medications and treatments
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
