It does not alter actual job duties, responsibilities, reporting lines, working conditions, grading, compensation, or other essential terms and conditions of employment.Summary of Role:Delivers day-to-day shipping support within pharmacy operations to ensure accurate, timely movement of orders and supplies across established workflows. Applies approved checklists and standard procedures to package, label, document, and hand off orders in the system of record.
Records shipment details and maintains traceable logs while confirming requirements, due dates, and handoffs with teammates.
Reports out-of-standard conditions promptly and routes out-of-scope inquiries to designated contacts to protect safety, quality, and compliance.Responsibilities: Packages orders using approved materials and checklists; checks contents and labels against documentation before submission* Checks and scans shipments in the system of record; updates status, logs, and tracking fields to keep artifacts traceable* Schedules pickups and delivery handoffs within defined turnaround times; notifies designated contacts of variances* Records discrepancies, damages, or missing information and reports issues promptly with explicit context* Applies privacy, security, safety, and quality protocols in all handling and storage activities; documents compliance as required* Updates personal job aids and completes required training; suggests small improvements to checklists and templates for supervisor approval* Collaborates with teammates to confirm requirements, due dates, and handoffs; routes out-of-scope inquiries to designated contactsExperience and Educational Requirements: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
- Less than 2 years of experience in pharmacy support, shipping/logistics, warehousing, or a related field requiredCertifications:Certification in pharmacy technician practice or logistics and warehouse operations, or equivalent preferred.Actual duties and responsibilities may vary based on business needs, local requirements, and operational practices. Where a team member's role is governed by an employment agreement, local terms and conditions, prior or collective bargaining agreement, those documents shall prevail in case of any inconsistency. Mandatory local laws shall also prevail.
