Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist specializing in Pelvic Floor therapy to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will assess, treat, and support patients experiencing pelvic floor dysfunctions, including urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, postpartum recovery, and other related conditions. Your expertise will help improve patients’ quality of life through personalized treatment plans that promote strength, mobility, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with pelvic floor issues, including medical history review and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based physiotherapy techniques.
- Guide patients through exercises and manual therapy interventions aimed at strengthening pelvic muscles and alleviating symptoms.
- Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, self-management strategies, and preventive care to support long-term health outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as urologists, gynecologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.




- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment sessions, and clinical notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay current with advancements in pelvic floor physiotherapy through ongoing career development and training.

Skills

- Proven experience working as a physiotherapist with a focus on pelvic health or related specialties.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to pelvic floor conditions and general healthcare practices.
- Experience in hospital or acute care settings is highly desirable to handle complex cases efficiently.
- Ability to deliver compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism in sensitive situations.
- Excellent communication skills for educating patients and collaborating effectively with healthcare teams.
- Familiarity with pediatric populations is a plus for treating younger patients with pelvic health concerns.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and applying evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.
