THIS IS A VERY PHYSCIAL POSITION

Hello,

We at Hamilton Indoor Go Karts are looking to hire for a part time position. Majority of shifts will be on weekends, occasional weeknights and preferably some weekdays. This job is perfect for someone in high school, college/university with a light school schedule, or taking time off school all together.

Duties and responsibilities include;

- Greeting and interacting with customers,
- Some very basic computer work using our specialized programs,
- Explaining the rules of the track and how to operate a go kart to customers,
- Ensuring all customers are wearing the appropriate helmet,
- Ensuring all customers are wearing the seat-belt correctly and making necessary adjustments,
- Ensuring all customers are following the rules of the track while they are racing,
- General upkeep and cleanliness of the facility during slow periods.

You must have exceptional customer skills. You are encouraged to make conversation and make guests feel welcome.



Friendliness and being easy to talk too are the number one trait we look for. You must have exceptional problem solving skills and be able to think on the fly.

This is a physical job that involves running short distances multiple times. You must also retrieve stuck karts on the track when customers have spun out. The karts weigh 500 lbs, but with proper technique and some athletic ability can be rolled adequately . No lifting is required.
