Description
Inspects, installs, maintains and repairs plumbing systems including gas, air, steam, water and waste disposal systems. Locates, diagnoses, reports and repairs malfunctioning systems. Fabricates or upgrades plumbing systems and components in compliance with local bylaws.
Services and overhauls plumbing fittings and fixtures, using common machine shop tools. Keeps records of time and material used by project. Maintains tools, equipment and supplies used. Maintains protected working conditions.

Requirements
Must have completed apprenticeship and hold current Trades Qualification. Journeyman (M/F) level skills and demonstrated proficiency in performing plumbing trades tasks, in particular, natural gas installation. Good working knowledge of local plumbing codes and standards.
Sufficient strength, stamina and coordination to perform a variety of routine heavy manual and machine operation tasks under all weather conditions. Valid B.C. driver's licence required to drive a light truck in performance of above duties
