You will report to the General Manager and support the Chief Administrative Officer in overseeing the City’s intergovernmental endeavors. This role involves building relationships across various levels of government and agencies, coordinating strategic advocacy efforts, and leading policy-driven projects to ensure the City’s interests are well represented.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cultivate a network with governmental and community partners • Monitor and report on policy developments impacting services • Lead strategic intergovernmental projects and communications • Prepare briefing notes for executive leadership • Coordinate inter-agency agreements and collaborations
Requirements: • Extensive public administration or related experience • Familiarity with municipal and governmental processes • Expertise in policy analysis and legislative trends • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Experience in team leadership and coaching
