The Prep Cook plays a key role in the kitchen, where they are responsible for preparing ingredients and food items before service. In addition, they assist the line cooks during service to help ensure a smooth and efficient flow of dishes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits;
- Assist the kitchen team in preparing basic recipes and components;
- Receive and properly store deliveries and inventory;
- Follow hygiene and food safety standards;
- Maintain the overall cleanliness of the kitchen;
- Adhere to occupational health and safety policies and procedures;
- Perform any other duties necessary to support the productive operation of the kitchen.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working in a high-volume kitchen environment;
- Strong interest in the culinary field;
- Motivated and eager to learn and grow (on-the-job training provided);
- Punctual,



organized, and committed to maintaining a clean work environment;
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team;
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
