About the Prospect micro1 is engaging experienced Purchasing Agents to contribute to a customer project focused on advancing next-generation AI systems in the procurement domain.

In this role, you will apply your practical procurement expertise to create realistic evaluation tasks covering RFP development, bid analysis, supplier evaluation, sourcing decisions, and contract reasoning. You will work with realistic procurement artifacts and complex vendor scenarios to help AI systems better understand how experienced procurement professionals evaluate options and make defensible sourcing decisions.

No prior AI experience is required. Your procurement expertise, analytical judgment, supplier evaluation skills, and contract reasoning are what matter most.

Responsibilities

- Design and author expert-level procurement evaluation tasks that reflect realistic business scenarios.
- Create scenarios involving RFP drafting, bid evaluation, supplier scoring, sourcing decisions, and contract negotiation.
- Source, create, and format realistic procurement artifacts such as supplier quotations, specification sheets, pricing tables, proposals, and technical documentation.




- Work with procurement materials presented in different or inconsistent formats and identify relevant information for comparison.
- Define defensible sourcing recommendations supported by clear and well-reasoned procurement analysis.
- Develop comprehensive grading rubrics to assess AI-agent performance in vendor comparison, bid analysis, supplier evaluation, and contract reasoning.
- Create procurement scenarios that reflect the complexity of specialized categories such as IT, industrial, and professional services.
- Document procurement assumptions, decision criteria, evaluation standards, and expected outcomes.
- Communicate procurement challenges and evaluation requirements clearly through written and verbal documentation.
- Collaborate with micro1’s project team to review, refine, and validate tasks and rubrics for accuracy and relevance.
- Ensure all evaluation materials reflect practical procurement standards and real-world decision-making.
