Job Summary The Intern, Product Change and Development reports to the Manager, Product Change and Development but will liaise with internal departments in the areas of Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, Technical Services, IT, HR and Finance and participate in required meetings.
This is a 12-16-month internship based in Calgary, AB.
Direct Accountabilities
Work within ERP system to build business cases for Product Changes and Options requests by customer using approved template.
Build Project Charter pages for handoff from Aftermarket team to Product Change Management team using approved Charter templates.
Attend weekly meetings and assist in capturing requirements and action items following meetings and sending out to all participants.
Ensure application of professional standards and company processes are followed in accomplishing program activities.
Always represent De Havilland in a professional and courteous manner in every communication with all internal and external stakeholders.
Education Degree or diploma in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience (e.g.: Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, Assembler, etc.) considered an asset. Experience, Skills,
and attitude Preferred A combination of education and experience in aerospace, project management and/or manufacturing will be considered. Basic to intermediary knowledge in MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Ability to manage and act on multiple projects and priorities at one time.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Capability to maintain steady control and calm when facing challenges.

Working Conditions Maintain strict adherence to De Havilland Aircraft of Canada (DHC) Health & Safety Policies.
Work in various environmental conditions, including temperature extremes, confined spaces, heights, and around chemicals.
Must be able to climb, stand, kneel, lift (up to 50 pounds), push, pull, bend, reach, carry, walk, crawl, balance, and use stairs.
Must be able to work shift rotations including weekends and/or night shifts, on-call or overtime as occasionally required.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required for workplace safety.
Ensure the ability to maintain a positive fit test when mask use is necessary.
