As Production Technician you will be assembling fire protection equipment, lighting packages, and other firefighting equipment and apparatus as required in the Sea Hawk shop in Carman, MB as well as occasionally onsite locations across Manitoba. You will report to the Production Manager and work with other technicians.

Job Requirements Abilities, Attitudes & Behaviors must include:

- Assemble and test products according to work instructions
- Perform basic DC wiring and electrical connections
- Use hand tools and basic mechanical equipment
- Read and follow simple wiring diagrams and assembly instructions
- Inspect finished products for quality and proper operation
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area




- Assist with general production and mechanical tasks as needed
- Ability to work as a team player or alone
- Self-motivated and takes initiative
- Critical thinking and the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to grow in your learning and understanding while accepting constructive criticism.
- Willing to adhere to the core values, code of conduct, and confidentiality (where necessary) of the organization.

Education Requirements: Required or ability to obtain:

- Beneficial skills include: knowledge about DC wiring principles, knowledge of basic mechanical skills and comfortable using hand tools, ability to read simple wiring diagrams and follow written instructions, basic computer knowledge
- Previous production, assembly, electrical or mechanical experience is preferred but not required
- Class 3 license or higher; "Hold, or willing to obtain a"
- Basic mechanic tools or purchase tools as required.
