At Alstom, we build what millions depend on daily - rail transportation systems that can't afford to fail. We're more than 85,000 people worldwide creating the industry's most diverse portfolio: high-speed trains, metros, trams, maintenance services and integrated systems.

Your Role, Your Impact

- Support the Rolling Stock Project Quality & Safety Manager in managing quality and safety activities for the REM Montreal project during its final execution and warranty phase.

- Coordinate and follow up on non-conformities (NCRs), customer issues, corrective actions, and action plans to ensure timely resolution and contractual compliance.
- Work closely with customer, maintenance, operations, engineering, and supplier teams to investigate issues affecting trains in revenue service and drive sustainable solutions.
- Support warranty management activities by tracking technical issues, monitoring corrective actions, and ensuring commitments are delivered on time.

- Monitor quality performance, prepare reports, maintain project documentation, and provide visibility on key risks, open issues, and improvement opportunities.
- Act as a field-oriented quality representative across Saint-Eustache, Brossard, and Montreal sites, supporting issue resolution directly where trains are maintained and operated.

What You Bring

- Railway, rolling stock, or rail maintenance experience is required, particularly supporting trains in revenue service, warranty activities, modifications, or technical investigations.

- Robust technical background in mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, or rolling stock systems; technician-level profiles with solid field experience are welcome.
- Ability to actively participate in both French and English meetings, collaborating with customer, maintenance, operations, and project stakeholders in a bilingual environment.
- Experience managing non-conformities, corrective action plans, technical issue resolution, or quality-related activities within a transportation or industrial setting.

- Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across several stakeholders and locations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to quickly learn project management, reporting, and quality systems.
- Comfort working primarily on-site and travelling regularly between Saint-Eustache, Brossard, and Montreal locations based on project needs.

- Experience with railway suppliers, rolling stock manufacturers, warranty management, or quality and safety functions is considered a strong asset.

How Success Is Measured

- Non-conformities, customer issues, and warranty-related actions are tracked, communicated, and resolved within agreed timelines.
- Corrective and preventive action plans are effectively coordinated and closed with the appropriate stakeholders.

- Strong collaboration is maintained with customer, maintenance, operations, engineering, and supplier teams to resolve technical and quality issues.
- Quality documentation, reports, and project follow-up activities are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Risks, recurring issues, and trends are proactively identified, escalated, and addressed to improve fleet performance and customer satisfaction.

- The Project Quality & Safety Manager receives effective operational support, enabling successful execution of project quality and safety commitments during the warranty phase.

Alstom, A Great Place to Grow

- Work with advanced technologies and contribute to strategic vision
- Make a global impact from our Saint-Eustache, Brossard, and Montreal offices
- Advance your career through continuous learning and development

Knowledge of a language other than French is an asset to facilitate communication with our partners, suppliers, colleagues, and international clients. In Quebec, French remains the primary working language of our company.

Here, progress isn't always easy but the impact is real. Because the scale is massive, the tasks are complex when the system runs, the train moves, and the city connects that feeling stays with you. And the legacy lasts.
